It all started with some spare beef and a rebellious idea...

Not a business plan. Not a focus group. Just a simple need to use up some diced beef and a rebellious idea to try and improve on the traditional pasty.

So we did what any self-respecting Cotswold local would do. We made a pasty. Then another. Then a few more. People raved, word spread and before long, The Cotswold Pasty Company was born.

The OG – The Cotswold Pasty – still reigns supreme: beef, potato, swede & carrot, wrapped in hand-crimped glory. It’s the one that started everything: fights, friendships and more than a few food comas.

Who's Behind the Crust

We’re a family-run outfit of Amy, Sam and a rotating cast of kids & friends to help crew. Together we roll, crimp & serve from our beloved pasty wagon, Betty, who comes complete with her very own seagull sidekick, Steve. (He’s got strong opinions about crumbs. And The Archers!).

We are Cotswold’s born & bred – with a little more edge and a little less tweed (except for Steve). Think rolling hills meets rock ‘n’ roll.
